Der Weg f\u00fchrt erst durch Wiesen und wird nach und nach steiniger, bis wir querfeldein mitten durch die Lavafelder fahren. Je weiter es geht, um so anspruchsvoller wird die Fahrt. F\u00fcr die ersten 60km ben\u00f6tigen wir gute vier Stunden. Im gleichen Tempo geht es dann weiter \u00fcber die F98 weiter Richtung S\u00fcden zum Dyngjujoekull. Wir versuchen den Griller anzuheizen, doch die K\u00e4lte und der starke Wind machen selbst dem Grillanz\u00fcnder zu schaffen.
